She repeated that they are not doing rounding. I gave her a 2o cent coin, and she gave me back 19 cents in 2 an d1 cent coins. I had just paid for my items at the self express checkout, on my way out of the store I stopped at the Newspaper stand to look at The Harold, there was a Security Guard standing at the papers An elderly man almost old enough to be retired and as I was looking at the paper I could see him staring into my face, a short time later he walked off, I then decided to proceed to the clothing department and as I did he stopped and looked around at me again and kept staring into my face as I walked by and he stood there I was then looking at the T-Shirts and tops, and as I was leaving I had to walk past where he sits at the CCTV Unit, as I walked past him, he moved out towards me slightly looking right at me and put me under the impression he was going to approach me but never did.

He purposely gave this impression to intimidate me for no given reason. And prior to this he had been giving me dirty looks on several occasions.

I thought it was most unusual considering I'm a well respected man, I dress well, speak well and do not interfere with anyone.

I have spent thousands of euros in Dunnes over the years. I immediately logged a formal complaint against the Security Guard to Head Office. The lady in head office who deals with HR issues like this had a completely one sided bias point of view at all times, the communication was not forthcoming from them, however I did arrange a meeting with the Store Manager in the particular Dunnes in Question and he was a very nice gentleman who I have no issue with, and he took my points on board and I am welcome to speak to him if there any repeats.

Which I doubt there will be as if there is I will be sure to have it aired on a number of the Radio Talk shows to ensure that people are not interfered with like this again. I am highly qualified in Managerial Skills and provided Dunnes Stores with my Certification that highlight my excellent communication skills which means this event should have never happened. It's my belief that the Security Guard was seen clearly intimidating me on CCTV for no given reason what so ever and from my experience and knowledge seemed to get away with it.

There was an internal review carried out with the relevant parties and my concerns were made known. To purposely intimidate a consumer on shop floor in front of other customers with no given reason is a very serious matter, and not just in this case but others like it staff like this can land companies like Dunnes serious legal trouble for Defamation of character case s. When I googled other incidents regarding Dunnes Stores there was no shortage of results that included similar incidents which was disappointing to learn of to say the least.

Overall, In my personal view and experience s I would have serious concerns about the conduct of some of the Security Guards in Dunnes Stores particularly the elderly grey haired gentleman in Dunnes in The Mill Centre, Clondalkin, I will continue to shop there not to give them custom but because I want to and won't be intimidated by this man.

Conduct of this nature is a form of harassment and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If there was cause or reason that would be fair enough, but there there's none, then no I'm sorry it's completely unacceptable on every level. My advice is to report any bad behavior or conduct of security to Management or Head Office. Dunnes are fine, nice stores blah blah blah. Don't leave reviews here, you are being watched. Trustpilot are Putins wh ores, they came round to my house last night and raped me.

You are under surveillance!!!!! In Swords this evening but sad to say came away somewhat discontent. No Pink Lady apples in bags despite Cormac checking in the stores. Products re arranged again. But the real bug bearer was there was no one explaining what as going on or for how long. Get to know your customers. Simply claim your company now. Manky baskets Manky baskets. The management is good and my co-workers are lovely, always ready to help each other. I enjoyed being given responsibility such as allocating the staff for the day and also money counting.

The management had great confidence in me and they allow me to learn a lot. I got on really well with all my co-workers which I think is an essential quality. This job was very enjoyable overall. My co workers were very friendly towards me We were a very good team helped each other out The most enjoyable part would have been the week of christmas the mood of allthe customers.

Sometimes easy work but enjoyable aside from the extreme lack of normal human beings as management making work miserable not the work itself. Daily, my duties included taking delivery, sorting and checking stock, merchandising and sales, costumer service.

I learned how to deal with costumers with problems and questions about stock and cash management. I learned how to manage my time to get as much done as possible and that I can keep calm in stressful situations. I also learned that I can learn fast in a short amount of time. My co-workers and I worked as part of a team along with the floor managers to get work done. Sales Assistant and Customer Service. I worked in the drapery section providing exceptional customer service and support, operating the till and handling financial transactions, general store maintenance and training new staff.

The hardest part of this job was time management, working in a big store and trying to get every job done in little time was difficult due to lack of staff. The most enjoyable part of the job was helping customers and dealing with nice people also enjoying the company of the other staff. I really enjoyed my time working at Dunnes Stores, it was however only a seasonal contract. I would love the chance to work there again.
